 Engaged Leaders for Gender Balance

This part of our site is dedicated to name checking the people who are doing great things in the gender balance area:

Thomas Donato – President EMEA Rockwell Automation

Thomas sponsored the recent launch of the Rockwell Automation Women’s Network in EMEA, and invited PWN Global to facilitate the event to add the external perspective and best practice in achieving gender balance. In his opening speech Thomas set out why Rockwell Automation was launching the EMEA Women’s Network and why he strongly supports it. Thomas actively participated throughout the day, facilitating one of the breakout sessions and hosting four different groups on ‘What are the main challenges to advancing gender balance in Rockwell Automation?’ He encouraged the delegates, who represented a wide range of countries and businesses from Rockwell Automation, to openly share and bring their in-depth business insights to the discussions. Throughout the day, the attendees were highly energised and strongly motivated. Thomas made it clear that as President his ongoing mission is to support the Women’s Network in reaching as many employees as possible, and helping to make Rockwell Automation EMEA an attractive, inclusive place for women to work. He commented “my vision is, that this initiative will turn into something we already accomplished with our ethical culture & behavior – living a true gender balanced culture.” The workshop concluded with Thomas committing to sponsor ongoing actions within Rockwell Automation EMEA to ensure the Women’s Network thrives and is fully supported by men in the company.
