Role description
PWN Zug & Zurich VP Marketing and Communications leads the communication strategy and its implementation, including online presence, social media, web and public relations. She/he is responsible for maintaining and developing the PWN chapter's brand image as well as for raising awareness for a more gender-balanced professional environment. The VP MarCom builds communities online, creating relevant content and promoting PWN Zug & Zurich events and activities.

The Secretary General and Treasurer is the primary steward of the PWN Zug & Zurich’s financial resources and is responsible for ensuring that the administrative and financial requirements of the association are managed in line with the statutes and bye-laws and local regulations. The Secretary General and Treasurer has an active part on the Board, serves as an advisor.
This includes budgeting, managing the accounts in conjunction with an external provider and with the elected auditors.
Responsibilities
> Managing the financial processes within the association, including:
> Liaising with the auditors and coordinating the yearly audit
> Yearly Budgeting
> Ensuring the Annual General Assembly is convened and proper documentation thereof is prepared
> Presenting the PWN Zug & Zurich financial results and annual budget at the Annual General Assembly
Time Commitment
This role may require a weekly average of 2-3 hours– primarily spent on responding to emails, payment of invoices and expenses and reconciliation, preparing documentation for accountants, Board meetings and supporting the rest of the Board members.
Background
> Minimum of 6 years business, management or leadership experience, in an international environment
> Understanding of accounting principles and association management
> Demonstrated experience in accounting and budgeting
> Exposure to governmental and not for profit organizations desirable
